The Build-Part4-Plumbing

August 2009. We had a big setback because Kevin had an accident with a saw and almost cut his hand in half. Fortunately the damage he did wasn't permanent - lots of stitches and a broken little finger. Ken was off running around and working on other jobs so most of the work was being done by a one handed man.

Starting on the bathroom plumbing.

The siding lifted up to install the black and gray tanks. The gray tank is about 40 gallons. Not sure how big the black is.

The holding tank valves. The white pipe is being used as heating duct to bring hot air into the basement so that the holding tanks won't freeze. The red valves will allow us to direct the heat. Edit - this did not work because the piping was too small. Tony redid it with 2" pipes but hasn't reinstalled the valves.

Black closed cell foam used for the gasket between the motorhome and truck cab.

This picture isn't clear but we wanted a good cover on the underside of the truck. Ken used a sheets of thin aluminum.

The aluminum was then sprayed with truck bed liner.  Ken also sprayed liner on the propane tank.019
